1. Effects of Global Warming and Nippo Electronics's Effort
Concerns about global warming are growing, and anybody can feel the climate is being changed. It has been cleared that the reason of that is due to the increasing of green house gases such as CO2 generated by human activities; therefore, governments, companies, and each person should effort to prevent the global warming. Nippo Electronics is trying to reduce the CO2 emission and to use the natural energy effectively by using solar panels set up on Advanced Technical Studio.
2. Use of Solar Energy
Solar energy is energy which does not emit CO2, so is called new energy.
90kW solar cell panels were established on the new plant of Nippo Electronics, Advanced Technical Studio C. Those panels generate about 10 MWh a month on average.
It is equivalent to reducing about 45-tonn CO2 a year.(USE data :Emission factor of electricity of CO2 0.378kgCO2)
Electricity generated by the solar power system is used for a part of air conditioning, lights, manufacturing equipments, and so on. If the electricity is ample on holidays, it is effectively used because power companies will buy it.
3. Last Month's Power Generated？
The amount of energy generated by the solar panels is shown on a digital board of the wall and on a display of a specific PC at Advanced Technical Studio C.
